The Filipino New Year tradition. Its all about driving out bad luck or bad spirits and welcoming in good luck for the coming new year. It is a borrowed belief or tradition from our Chinese brothers and sisters. One big example of this borrowed tradition is the preparation of 13 different kinds of round and sweet fruits at the dining table.

Goodbye 2011. whew! Time flies so fast..We really enjoyed our new year celebration for 2012 especially the food and fiireworks (i lurv fireworks!).. We hugged each other when 2012 hits.. As simple as that but still a lot of things to be thankful for.. I hope everyone had a wonderful new year.. Goodvibes for 2012 please! =D Again, Happy new year everyone!!
